Meet Our Team

  • Dr. Brandon S. Pinson

Dr. Brandon S. Pinson grew up in the Appalachian foothills in Forsyth County Georgia on a beef cattle and poultry farm, working the farm throughout his entire upbringing. Growing up around many animals, he developed an interest in veterinary medicine early in life. At age 4 when asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, he replied, 'A Veterinarian!' He never waivered from that proclamation. Dr. Pinson began working at Crestview Animal Hospital in Cumming, Georgia just after high school while attending North Georgia College and State University. At NGCSU he earned his Bachelor's degree in Biology. After graduating from NGCSU, Dr. Pinson got married and started classes at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006.

While attending veterinary school at UGA, Dr. Pinson pursued training in small and large animal medicine and surgery and was a highly involved member of the student body. He served as President of Christian Veterinary Fellowship, President of the Veterinary Business Management Association, was a Senator for the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association, was a member of numerous other clubs and organizations, was the recipient of the Simmons and Associates Veterinary Business and Aptitude Scholarship Award and the Phi Zeta Student Outreach and Leadership Award.

As President of Christian Veterinary Fellowship (a student chapter of Christian Veterinary Misson), Dr. Pinson helped organize the very first veterinary mission trip to take place through the veterinary school at UGA. He and his wife have served on veterinary mission trips to the Native American Reservations in Arizona and New Mexico with Christian Veterinary Mission to help with animal welfare as they share the Gospel of Christ. They are humbled and excited that the Christian Veterinary Fellowship group at UGA has continued to take the same mission trip every summer since and build relationships between so many. It is Dr. Pinson's life mission to serve Christ through veterinary medicine.

After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Pinson and his wife moved to a farm in rural Southeast Georgia where he practiced mixed animal medicine outside of Savannah for 2 years. They left a part of their hearts in Southeast Georgia, but knew the Lord was calling them to practice ownership. A door opened in Forsyth, Georgia and based on the details there is no denying that God orchestrated the move.

When Dr. Pinson is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, their 7 pets, traveling, watching football - GO DAWGS!! - playing golf, fishing, water skiing, snowboarding, playing the guitar and banjo, missions work, church, and going to Kiwanis Club. Dr. Pinson is also the Assistant Regional Director for The Georgia Veterinary Medical Association for Region 8, which includes the following counties: Baldwin, Bibb, Butts, Glascock, Hancock, Jasper, Jefferson, Johnson, Jones, Laurens, Monroe, Morgan, Putnam, Twiggs, Washington and Wilkinson.
